Nice Location but Average Response &Service
In general: Came here with friends on a leisure stay. The property is just right in the heart of the city. Clubs and markets are barely 5 - 10 minutes walk. However after spending a night there was no electricity and no arrangements were there for a power backup. The host instead of providing a solution blamed the local electricity department. Mukti (local caretaker) was also of no help. Half of the time he was not on the property and would never answer our calls. We literally had to remind him to procure basic stuff like clean bedsheets, pillow covers, towels, soaps etc which were not there in the apartment. Moreover when we requested him for an explanation he told us to check out immediately at night and initially refused to refund the money. We finally had to contact Air BNB which helped us to get our refund and checked out the very next morning. We had to spend the entire night on the beach as there was no electricity despite several reminders. The following are the points which need to be worked upon. - No glasses were to be found. - Once a day cleaning could happen without payment. (The same was INR 250) - Microwave, stove, geezer, AC and cupboards were not working. Made it difficult to make the simplest things slightly coordinated. After each stay, the linens have to be changed, things have to rechecked and kept in working conditions. - Wifi connectivity was very poor (The wifi was shared between apartments of Oliva resort and had poor connectivity). - Initially we were told we couldn't enter the pool because pool is a part of the resort (The resort is Oliva and Casa stay is one of the apartments in it) all apartments are not allowed to use it. The same should have been clarified in advance. The host tried to overcharge us but since we had booked it through to Air BNB he could not fleece us.
